Due to circumstnaces beyond our control (a faulty card in the camera), the whole class photos that were taken on Friday 26th July need to be retaken.

Photos will be taken from 9am on Monday 12th August, for the following classes, in this order:

Room 21

room 01

room 12

room 24

room 14

room 20

room 18

room 23

The SRC exec photo will not be retaken on this day. It will be taken on Friday 1st November when we take the Term 4 Reception photos.

We are sorry for any inconveniance this has caused but is is beyond our control.

Staff are participating in Stress Down Day,  a fun and easy initiative to reduce stress and raise awareness for Lifeline. Donations to Stress Down Day will support Lifeline’s 24 hour telephone crisis support service, one-on-one crisis support chat service and various other national services and campaigns that promote emotional wellbeing, encourage help seeking and address suicide prevention and awareness.

This Stress Down Day is for staff only, not students.

If you would like to make a donation to this worthy cause (please note, there is no obligation to do so!) the lovely ladies in the Front Office would love to see you!

Room 01 and 02 are in need of donations of balls of “thick” wool for the puppets they are making.

They would like “hair” coloured wool if possible.

If you can help, please drop the wool off to the Front Office or Room 01 and 02 in the Doolette Building.

Last term our Year 6/7 football team was nominated as the 2013 West  Adelaide  SASFA Maccas Premiers Cup representative team. This means they will be playing against other zone representative teams for the SASFA Premier’s Cup. As part of Round 1 of the competition they will be playing the Sturt zone team this Saturday 27^th July at the Blackwood High School oval starting at 10.30am.

Hopefully they can add to the success they have already had in winning the Interzone competition. Congratulations to our football coordinator, Annette Wilson, the coach Paddy Field and the players.
