Dear Parents

The school received an Alert today advising us of the incident yesterday in Melrose Park. This has been widely reported in the media.

Without going into detail about the incident and unduly alarming children, teachers have once again gone through safety procedures for before and after school. We encourage students to:

• walk in pairs or groups and go straight home
• walk against the flow of traffic
• be wary if someone in a car stops and keep your distance from the car
• don’t wear both earpieces if listening to music

TIME FOR A CHANGE!

We at Colonel’s Kitchen follow the Rite Bite Policy but we know we can do better! So , we are stepping it up a notch, but to do so we need your help. We will be forming a team to help us develop, implement and sustain a greener, healthier Canteen.

So, bring your idea’s and your enthusiasm to our meeting Thursday March 3rd @ 2.00pm in the staffroom.

Successful fundraising is simply not possible without a team of volunteers.

We are looking for volunteers to help out at the Family Picnic. If you are available to give us a hand for 30minutes or so that would be fantastic. Helping to cook a BBQ or looking after a stall, please email Kellygilbert01@gmail.com

Due to attending a funeral, Thursdays meeting in regards to the Canteen, has been changed to Friday at 2:00pm in the staff room.
