Soccer Coordinator needed for 2014

We are looking for a soccer lover who would like to see School Soccer continue at CLG next year. We need you NOW!, as later this term we will be doing a recruitment drive with the year 1 classes. Our current co-ordinator has decided to pass the baton on after doing it for the last 3 years. This is a very rewarding role, and having our boys and girls playing soccer with their mates is something we should be encouraging. Without a co-ordinator, there quite possibly will be no soccer in 2014. DON’T LET THIS HAPPEN! Please call Wyatt on 0408 802 348 if you are interested in this role for next year.

National Bandanna Day – This Friday 18th October

This year’s National Bandanna Day is this Friday 18th October, and while not a school fundraising event, our school traditionally supports students and families wishing to support this worthy cause. CanTeen is aiming to raise another $1.7 million to help young people living with cancer. The theme for National Bandanna Day 2013 is “Attitude is Everything – Buy It, Wear It”. By buying and wearing bandannas, you’ll show your support for young people as they fight cancer. The School Office are selling bandannas ($4 each) and pens ($3 each).
