It’s not too late to order your yearbook for 2013!!!!
EVERY CHILD IN THE SCHOOL is featured in this book several times in some form or another. There are many highlights of events throughout the year and a great keepsake of Colonel Light Gardens Primary School. It is being professionally printed in full colour and is looking really great.
To order, please complete the tear off slip and return it to the office with $28.00.
Because they are being professionally printed, NO SPARE COPIES WILL BE AVAILABLE. Your copy will be distributed to your child at the end of the week, of the last week of term. Get your order in now and don’t miss out!

We are looking for a football lover who would like to see School Football continue at CLG next year. We need you NOW! Next year’s football is already in full swing at West Adelaide and changes are on their way next year. Our current co-ordinator will not be at the school next year and needs to pass her baton to the replacement as soon as possible so don’t delay! This is a very rewarding role and having our boys playing football with their mates is something we should be encouraging. Without a co-ordinator, there quite possibly will be no football in 2014. DON’T LET THIS HAPPEN! Please call Annette on 0417811329 if you are interested in this role for next year.
Swimming lessons for Reception to Year 5 students will be in Week 6 (Mon 18th-Fri 22nd Nov) .
A note and consent form for each student was sent home today. Please note the due date on the bottom of the consent form is incorrect. The consent form and payment is due by MONDAY 11th NOVEMBER. Please amend this on your note.
This year’s National Bandanna Day is this Friday 18th October, and while not a school fundraising event, our school traditionally supports students and families wishing to support this worthy cause. CanTeen is aiming to raise another $1.7 million to help young people living with cancer. The theme for National Bandanna Day 2013 is “Attitude is Everything – Buy It, Wear It”. By buying and wearing bandannas, you’ll show your support for young people as they fight cancer. The School Office are selling bandannas ($4 each) and pens ($3 each).
