Lap-a-thon this Friday

Lap-a-thon is this Friday 26th June from 11.30-12.30pm. Families are welcome to attend, with hot tea and coffee available for adults to purchase at the coffee van.

Sponsorship forms have been sent home and we ask you to help your children to get sponsors/donations. Not only is this a great opportunity for some fun and fitness, this is one of our biggest fundraisers for the year with funds being used to upgrade the play and outdoor learning areas on the north eastern side of our school.

Primary students are encouraged to dress up whilst JP students can wear a ‘fabulous hat’. (Students come to school in their uniform and will be given an opportunity to change before and after the event.) There are prizes for the most creative dress-ups and for the individual who runs the most laps, and an apple at the end of the run. A big thank you to Lenswood Apples for donating apples for students, and Hughes and Loveday for donating the prizes.

Let’s hope for good weather because we are looking forward to a fun event!

Reminder – lost property

A reminder to check the lost-property cupboards (next to the Japanese Room) before the end of term, as they as still overflowing!

If your child is missing any items such as drink bottles, a lunchbox or school uniform/clothing, please check as soon as possible.

Any items left in the cupboards at the end of Term 2 which can’t be identified will be washed and either used by the front office, sent to charity or put in the bin.

Thank you.

Duplicate Reports?

DUPLICATE REPORTS

Most split families are happy to receive one report for their child/children. However, in some cases, it may not be possible to do this. If you would like to receive two copies of your child’s report, please can you print this form and return to Adele Egarr via your child’s class teacher by Friday 19th June.

Adele will need to know the name of the child and class and if both reports will be sent home with the child or if we need to post a copy of the report to the other parent. In this case, please provide the details for the other parent in case we do not have them on file.

If you have made this request previously, we still have those details on file. This note is for NEW students/ families to CLG since Jan 2015 or family circumstances have changed since Term 4, 2014 reports went home.
