Reminder: Working Bee This Sunday!
SUNDAY AUGUST 25th 12-4pm
Each term at CLGPS we have a Working Bee, where parents, friends and family can come to the school and help out with designated projects, planting, weeding, sweeping, mulching, and general tidying of the school yard. The working bees are a great way for families to contribute in some way to the school whilst demonstrating to their kids respect and pride in the school grounds.
This term, we have a few jobs to be done: mulching the GrangeNativeGarden area, some weeding, sweeping and general yard tidying (especially the litter).
If you have never been to a working bee, but are keen to help out, all you need to do is meet at the big shed next to the bike racks at noon and we’ll point you in the direction of a job. You can bring your own gloves/tools, or you can come empty handed, and you can stay for as little or as long as you like. Every little bit helps! See you on the 25th 🙂
Maple Story & Footy Trading Cards at CLGPS
Many students traded and played with cards correctly during recess and lunchtime. But there are still quite a few students not doing the right thing, especially during school time. Each day there are still stealing and arguing problems. This is making lots of problems for other students, parents and teachers.
The SRC has decided:-
No more Maple Story cards and no more Footy Trading cards at school.
From Friday, 16th August, no cards are allowed at school at all.
