Term 4 Working Bee: THIS SUNDAY 1st December

Got some time free on a Sunday? Want to help keep our school tidy and set a good example for your kids? Why not pop in to the school on Sunday, 1 December any time between 1-4pm and help spruce up the yard in time for the end of year concert. Jobs to be done include: weeding, pruning, rubbish collection, sanding/varnishing/oiling outdoor furniture, and general yard tidying. You can spend 30 minutes or 3 hours on a section of yard. It’s an easy way to contribute to the school, and your kids, the school and the community will benefit. Just bring some gloves and a positive attitude. See you there 🙂

From Governing Council – 2014 Materials and Services Charge POLL

Dear Parents,
Today we posted parents a ballot paper regarding the 2014 Materials & Services Charge (school fees).
Governing Council is proposing that we do not increase fees for 2014 and keep to the $350 we were charged this year.  Parents on School Card do not pay fees and all parents may choose to pay by instalments.
The ballot paper you will receive in the post is asking you to agree that the full $350 is legally recoverable. This would mean that all parents, except those on School Card, must pay this amount.
Governing Council asks that you vote on the ballot paper posted to you and return it to the school by Wednesday, December 11th.
John Harvey
Chairperson, Governing Council
