Students in years 5-7 are able to access instrumental instruction from the Instrumental Music Service (IMS) on-site at Westbourne Park Primary School (2 Marlborough Road, Westbourne Park). Instruments for this service include only percussion, trumpet, trombone, flute, clarinet, saxophone, euphonium and bass guitar. If there are sufficient numbers in Bass Guitar, Woodwind and Brass, lessons may also be held at Colonel Light Gardens Primary School. The deadline for an expression of interest (see attached) has been extended until next Monday 20th Feb.
Colonel Light Gardens Primary School’s Acquaintance Night will be held next Wednesday 15th February. This is an excellent opportunity for parents to come along to meet your child’s class teacher/s and find out more information about the routines and learning that will be happening this year in classes.
