“Sports Vouchers” – Government initiative

sports vouchers

Dear Parents,

The Office of Recreation and Sport has introduced an initiative that enables families to receive assistance when registering their child (Rec – Yr7) with a community sporting club. Each child is entitled to a $50 discount voucher to go toward fees at a participating Sporting Club.

You can go to the Sports Voucher website http://www.sportsvouchers.sa.gov.au/ to search for a Registered Club in your local area who accepts the vouchers toward club fees.

A fact sheet and short video further explaining the program can also be found on their website.

Reminder Anzac Film Permission Forms need to be returned ASAP

Dear parents,

Well done to everyone who returned their forms already – we only have 68 children out of 641 who haven’t returned their permission forms as of today!  That’s a pretty good effort.

However, we are about to start filming some learning activities and this is very hard to organise if we do not have permission to use your child’s images for this project.

Your child’s teacher will have already provided a duplicate form for you to complete but if you need another, please just ask the class teacher.  If you do not give permission for your child to appear in the film and end credits, please write no in the appropriate sections on the form.

If you have any queries, please email me at louisa.guest741@schools.sa.edu.au or call 8276 1523

Regards,

Louisa Guest

We are also in urgent need of a coach for the Year 4/5 team. This can be a shared role if it helps. Training nights are flexible.

If you are able to assist, please contact Kendall Zimmermann Ph: 0400 009 314 ASAP.
